Our lab members span the University of North Dakota’s sub-disciplines and colleges, including Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology (Education), Forensic Psychology, and Experimental Psychology.

Dr. RaeAnn Anderson, PhD, LP, our primary investigator, is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She has worked on many projects and has published over 42 peer-reviewed papers.

Annie Nickell, our Lab Manager, is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She has much experience working in the mental health field and has managed the SVP lab for almost 2 years. Annie will earn her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2025.

Danielle Piggott

Is a graduate Research Assistant and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She works with the Longitudinal Recovery Study and has been with lab for over 3 years! Brittany Mancha

Is graduate Research Assistant and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She works on data collection for the ARTA study and is in charge of writing & presentation for the ConV study. Brittany will earn her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2026.

Lisa Wilson

Is a graduate Research Assistant, mentee to Dr. Anderson, and doctoral student of the INPSYDE (Indians into Psychology) program at the University of North Dakota. She has been with the lab for almost 2 years! Lisa will graduate with her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2027.

Kimberly Tom

Is a graduate Research Assistant and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She is involved with the ISI study and has been with the lab for almost 3 years. Kim will earn her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2025.

Jasmine Skorheim

Is a graduate Research Assistant and student of Forensic Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She is currently involved with the ConV study and is coordinator for SONA studies.

Victoria Helm

Is a graduate Research Assistant and student of Clinical Psychology at Cleveland State University. She will be applying to the Clinical Psychology PhD program in Fall 2023. She is involved in the ISI and ConV studies. She is Social Media Co-Coordinator. Victoria has been with the lab for almost 2 years.

Lilly Christen

Is an undergraduate Research Assistant and is majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She is currently involved with the ConV study and the Social Media Committee in the lab. Lilly will graduate in 2023.

Joshua McKeever

Is an undergraduate Research Assistant and is majoring in Experimental and General Psychology at the University of North Dakota. He is involved with the ConV study and the ARTA study. Joshua will graduate in 2024.

Savannah Pomani

Is an undergraduate McNair scholar Research Assistant and is majoring in General Studies with a minor of Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She is involved with coding and the Social Media Committee in the lab. Savannah will graduate in the Spring of 2023.

Emily DeBell

Is an undergraduate Research Assistant and is majoring in American Indian Studies and Psychology at the University of North Dakota. She is involved with the ConV study and the ARTA study. Emily will graduate in Fall 2023.
